Consumption in the Picture

Visual representation of consumption and appearance of IR panels in the space.

Description of the Building and Consumption

The client is more than satisfied with the Ekosen system, as they expected higher consumption. Therefore, in the second season, they increased the temperature in the house since the solar power plant produces more electricity than the entire household consumes, including water heating and heating with Ekosen IR panels.

The client reports: In the 2021/2022 heating season, which was the first year of heating with IR panels, consumption was lower than in the 2022/2023 season, mainly because we were not yet sure about the actual consumption and how much electricity we would generate with the solar power plant. So, we heated the rooms to 21 degrees, and the bathroom to 23 degrees. In 2022, when we realized that the electricity production was sufficient and the electricity consumption for heating with IR panels did not exceed expectations, we heated the rooms to 22.5 degrees and the bathroom to 23-23.5 degrees. For this reason, electricity consumption for heating increased in 2022.
